Royal Oak Apartments, Poulton-le-Fylde

Construction of a new build 3-Storey apartment block of 16 self-contained luxury apartments, including external works, pavement widening and new service connections.

The site is located on a prominent corner along the edge of Poulton-le-Fylde's conservation area and has been vacant and in need of development for several years. The site formerly housed Royal Oak public house/ hotel and its associated car park, which was demolished in June 2018.

FJBS Ltd takes great pride in being a key member of the team responsible for delivering this iconic building. This project allowed us to employ, not only our experience in delivery complex construction projects working with a wide range of sub-contractors and suppliers, but also take an active role in providing design solutions throughout the duration of the project.

The development was constructed using steel frame, with pre-cast concrete floors, and combination of pad foundations, strip footings and reinforced ground bearing concrete slab.
